I am so happy that you have chosen to share your time learning more about me. If you have landed here chances are good that you are interested in kids and how we can invest in them to change the world. That's what I am all about. After a successful career as a business executive I had an "aha" moment where I realized that I needed to do more than make money and pay bills. I needed to do something to improve the lives of children. My family and I quit our jobs, sold our home, and pulled our kids out of school (in the middle of my daughter's senior year) to move 500 miles to Iowa City, IA where we didn't know a soul because I wanted to pursue my PhD and help kids get more out of their youth. Fast forward to now - I work with school districts, state education associations, not-for-profit groups, and parent support groups to find ways to support children. Whether it is using research to solve a problem or my business sense to help map out a plan for improvement, I am thrilled to offer my knowledge, energy, and expertise to those on a similar mission.
